NAMs and NGRA on the agenda for the Tox26 conference

NAMs et NGRA au programme du colloque Tox26

On 1 and 2 October 2026, Adebiotech, Paris-Saclay University and PARC are jointly organising TOX26, a scientific conference dedicated to NAMs (New Approach Methodologies) and NGRA (Next Generation Risk Assessment) for the predictive assessment of systemic toxicity.

Over two days, Paris-Saclay University will host scientists, industry representatives, regulators and research institutions to take stock of the latest advances in NAMs applied to the systemic assessment of toxicological risk. In silico and in vitro approaches, PBPK models and microphysiological systems (MPS) will be at the heart of the discussions, with a clear focus on the regulatory and industrial application of NGRA.

Faced with rapidly evolving European regulations (the European Commission’s Roadmap, REACH, NGRA), industry and academia must anticipate major changes to their practices.
The aim of this conference is to help industry and academia (from start-ups to large corporations) in the fields of chemistry, the pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, biocides, nutrition and cosmetics to assess systemic toxicity and anticipate future changes.
This concerns: substances (one substance, one assessment: sharing of tools) and finished products.
To assess systemic toxicity, the conference will address the range of predictive tools and alternative tests and will present new tests currently under development and undergoing validation.

The NAMs/NGRA symposium brings together, for the first time, researchers, test developers, industry representatives and regulatory agencies for a packed scientific programme:
• Session 1 – Introductory presentations
• Session 2 – Regulatory framework for …
