The European Commission has just published a corrigendum to Regulation (EU) 2023/1545, which imposed mandatory labeling for a total of 80 substances identified as allergens. It corrects the INCI names in three new entries in Annex III of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009.
Published on July 24, 2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/1545, applicable from July 31, 2026 for products placed on the market, and from July 31, 2028 for products made available on the market, amended 17 entries in Annex III of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, and added 45 new ones.
