In 2024, the beauty market was estimated to be worth over €290 billion, still growing by +4.5%. France is the leading European market, and the beauty sector is the second largest contributor to exports, growing by +7.5%. The skincare segment accounts for 39% of the market. Valued at over €110 billion in 2024, it continues to experience strong growth, with forecasts predicting around €164 billion in 2032, with growth of nearly 7% per year.
In this segment, anti-ageing (even though the term is increasingly being challenged) remains number one in terms of value and is even expected to grow from £32 billion in 2024 to over £55 billion in 2032.

The Silver Beauty boom

Today, we talk about Silver Beauty in a context where the population is ageing at a very rapid pace.
The UN describes this phenomenon as one of the major issues facing our societies. The United States predicts that the number of people over 60 will double by 2050. And in France, it is estimated that one in two adult women is over 50.
