MEK: conclusions of the CoRAP evaluation
On 20 May 2026, ECHA (the European Chemicals Agency) announced the publication of the conclusions of the assessment of Butanone (INCI: MEK), carried out by Sweden as part of the Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP). This could result in the substance being classified as toxic to reproduction.
Methyl Anthranilate: Intention of CLH classification
On 6 May 2026, ECHA (the European Chemicals Agency) announced the Czech Republic’s intention to introduce harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) for Methyl Anthranilate, a fragrance ingredient.
Silver Chloride, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate : CLH consultations
On 27 April 2026, ECHA (the European Chemicals Agency) launched two consultations on proposals for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) submitted by Sweden for Silver Chloride (a preservative) and by Norway for Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate (a plasticiser).
