The EU "Deforestation-free" Regulation in the time of simplificationSubscribers only

Following the agreement reached between the European co-legislators in December 2025, the Commission published, on 4 May 2026, a report on the simplification of Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, known as the “Deforestation-free” Regulation or EUDR, along with a series of additional measures aimed at ensuring smoother implementation by the time it enters into force on the 30 December 2026.

Regulation (EU) 2026/909: new restrictions for 12 cosmetic ingredientsSubscribers only

On 28 April 2026, the Commission published Regulation (EU) 2026/909 in the Official Journal of the European Union, amending Annexes II, III, V, and VI to Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 to update the conditions of use for 12 ingredients. Its provisions will enter into force from 1 January 2027.
