The Italian papermaker has just achieved a hat-trick! For the third year running, Fedrigoni has been awarded the Platinum Medal by certification body EcoVadis for its commitment to sustainable development.
With a score of 90/100 following its 2024 audit by EcoVadis, Fedrigoni can pride itself on remaining in the very exclusive club of “platinum” members. Only 1% of the companies assessed by the organization score so highly.
In addition to all its sustainable development actions, Fedrigoni has also taken part in the EcoVadis Academy, which offers content dedicated to improving CSR skills.
“Thanks to constant dialogue with our suppliers, we are developing a number of concrete sustainable purchasing initiatives together, with the aim of implementing joint CSR strategies. This constant collaboration and exchange of experience, combined with the integration of CSR issues into our purchasing and evaluation strategy, are key elements in the success of our sustainable procurement program,” said Alessandro Gaiati, Chief Procurement Officer of the Fedrigoni Group.
