
In foresight, it’s never too early to talk about the future. The WGSN agency, in partnership with the Coloro coding system, unveils the color palette that is set to shape the fashion, beauty, design and tech industries by 2027. Focus on two of the five shades.
Here are the first shades highlighted by WGSN and Coloro for spring-summer 2027 (with descriptions from the firm).
Luminous Blue
Inspired by lapis lazuli and cobalt, this vivid shade of blue evokes both traditional pigments and materials essential to the energy transition. It embodies a vision of progress based on the hybridization of human and artificial intelligence, craftsmanship and innovation. “Luminous Blue links past, present and future. It symbolizes the transmission of knowledge and the search for a balance between human wisdom and technological precision,” says WGSN.
Its uses are cross-disciplinary: fashion, beauty, tech, furniture… In cosmetics, it can be used to accentuate vibrant, singular proposals. In design, lacquered or metallic finishes will enhance its visual impact.
Pop Pink
Happy, vibrant, carefree. This pink is designed as a direct response to ambient stress. It embodies the idea of “strategic pleasure”, combining nostalgia, playfulness and well-being.
Pop Pink reactivates memories of Millennial Pink and the aesthetics of the 1990s, while taking a fresh, resolutely forward-looking look.
