Iâd like to refer you to a document we published on the Internet: Cosmetic product claims, not everything is permitted. And youâll come across a paper weâve published explaining what we think the rules are for making claims we consider lawful.
âą Always ask yourself whether the claim could mislead a non-specialist consumer: âItâs not complicated,â Catherine Argoyti explained, âyou go to your neighbor or your mom and ask: What do you understand when I say: âthis product will remove all wrinkles?â Depending on how your neighbor understands the claim, youâll know whether what you plan to use will be well understood by the average consumer.â
âą Always refer to Regulation 655/2013, which develops the Common Criteria for claim compliance.
