The CoRAP 2026–2028 published by ECHA

On 24 March 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the updated Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) for the years 2026, 2027, and 2028. The list includes a total of 27 substances that will be assessed by the Member States under the REACH Regulation. Seven of these may be used in cosmetics.

The 27 substances included in CoRAP 2025-2027, which are suspected of posing a risk to human health or the environment, will be assessed by the competent authorities of eight Member States.
This plan includes eight new entries and 20 already present in previous CoRAPs. Three of these have had their evaluations postponed, mainly, explains ECHA, pending new data that has been requested.
17 substances (including one group) are due to be evaluated in 2026, nine in 2027 and one in 2028. ECHA warns that for the substances scheduled for 2027 and 2028, changes could be introduced in the next CoRAP update in 2027.
Of the 27 substances concerned, seven can currently be used in cosmetics.
