For 20 years, Kantar has been ranking the most valued brands. By cross-referencing financial data with consumer opinion, the forward-looking consultancy compiles a list of the most recognized and appreciated companies worldwide.
As usual, Kantar produces an overall ranking. The top ten places in this ranking are occupied by:
• Apple
• Google
• Microsoft
• Amazon
• Nvidia
• Facebook
• Instagram
• McDonald’s
• Oracle
• Visa
Once again this year, no cosmetics brand made it into the top ten.
“Hygiene/beauty” ranking
The world’s most valued cosmetics brands are:
• L’Oréal Paris
• Colgate
• Pampers
• Gillette
• Lancôme
• Dove
• Nivea
• Huggies
• Maybelline
• Pantene Pro V
• Olay
• Estée Lauder
• Oral-B
• Head & Shoulders
“The top 15 personal care brands represent $165.2 billion in 2025, down 5% from 2024. This decline reflects a more general slowdown in the growth of major FMCG brands,” comments Kantar. “Increased competition within the category is one of the main reasons for this plateau. Consumers are more open to competing brands than they are for other product categories.”
