CosmeticOBS: What are the solutions developed by Equadis?

Ghislain Esquerre: Equadis has historically specialized in Product Information Management (PIM). It’s a tool that enables brands like Filorga to structure and centralize all the information they need to market their products: marketing descriptions, logistical data, visuals, ingredients… but also the selling price charged by distributors, such as pharmacies or selective retailers.
Each product sheet can contain up to 200 items of cosmetic information. The aim is to provide distributors and online sales sites with complete, reliable and up-to-date content.
But we soon realized that simply distributing data was not enough. Between the time it is sent by the brand and the time it is displayed on the platforms, there can be errors, omissions or modifications. It was in response to this challenge that we developed our Digital Shelf Analytics solution.
It enables real-time monitoring of how products are presented online: availability, positioning in search results, keyword quality, price consistency, proper execution of promotional campaigns…
This is particularly crucial in cosmetics, where visuals are often linked to muses and subject to strict usage rights.
