CosmeticOBS met with Alexandra Ferré, Director of Impact & CSR, to discuss the company’s structural commitments and sustainable vision.

CosmeticOBS: You recently launched the “sustainable beauty” marketplace, which marks a digital turning point for Yves Rocher. What are the ambitions of this project in terms of environmental impact and transformation of the sector?

Alexandra Ferré: The Marketplace illustrates our desire to make e-commerce a real lever for transforming the beauty industry towards greater sustainability. It now brings together more than 60 partner brands (including Epycure, Erborian, Les Secrets de Loly, etc.) selected for the quality of their products and their commitments to naturalness, effectiveness, ethics, and transparency.
Together, we are building an ecosystem that goes beyond cosmetics to include wellness, men’s beauty, and baby care. Each partner adheres to a demanding CSR charter, covering areas such as formulation, more responsible manufacturing, traceability, and eco-friendly packaging design.
We go even further with the Green Impact Index, an independent tool that assigns a rating from A to E based on more than 50 environmental and social criteria for over 50 of our products. It’s a simple and transparent way to empower consumers to compare and choose more responsible products.
