
Newcomer to the skincare market, Happy made Cosmetics aims to stand out with targeted and accessible personalization. Formulated in France and 99% natural, its treatments address one issue at a time for greater effectiveness. CosmeticOBS met with its founder, cosmetologist Delphine Duc.
CosmeticOBS: How did your project come about?
Delphine Duc: Happy Made Cosmetics was born out of two observations: first, a personal one, with my own battle against hormonal acne. And second, a professional one, as a cosmetologist confronted with the limitations of conventional skincare products.
In my twenties, I suffered from late-onset acne. No commercial products worked, so I started creating my own skincare products.
Thanks to my studies and professional experience in cosmetic formulation, I knew how to measure out my active ingredients, choose the right oils (jojoba, hazelnut, etc.) and adapt the textures to my combination skin. I quickly saw the difference and the results. But what I was able to do as a professional, not everyone can do without risk. DIY cosmetics can be dangerous if not done properly, with allergies, overdosing, skin reactions, etc.
It then became clear to me: I needed to create a customizable, safe, effective, and accessible skincare regimen. A truly tailor-made skincare product.
