Labeling of allergens: are you ready?Subscribers only

This is the first step in the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2023/1545: from 31 July 2026, all cosmetic products newly placed on the market in the European Union must include, in the list of ingredients on the labelling, the allergens featured on the list, which contains more than 80 such substances.

On 8 July 2026, the European Commission notified a draft Regulation aimed, on the one hand, at prohibiting the use in cosmetics of substances classified as CMR under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1222 (23rd ATP to the CLP Regulation), and, on the other hand, at introducing or amending restrictions applicable to several ingredients recently assessed by the SCCS.

Deltamethrin: proposal of CLH classificationSubscribers only

It also published a new classification intention for Butyrolactone, a fragrance ingredient.
