Featuring must-attend events, important deadlines and new requirements to prepare for, it compiles all the key dates for the cosmetics industry, from regulatory timelines to conferences and trade shows not to be missed.
All year round
DGCCRF controls: the announced topics
Three areas of inspection will be pursued:
• market surveillance and inspections of products entering the market for the first time,
• GMP,
• claims.
And to take into account new trends and emerging issues, two additional areas of focus will be added, namely:
• products intended for young consumers,
• imported products.
January 1st
PFAS
French law No.2025-188 now prohibits PFAS in cosmetic products. The Decree setting out the terms of application was published at the very end of 2025.

Benzophenone-3
The new restrictions (identical to those applicable in Europe since 2023) come into force in England, Wales, and Scotland for products placed on the market.
