La Silver Beauty en 6 tendances

In a recent study, Beauty Streams asked women what bothered them most after turning 50. Their top four concerns were:
• health problems,
• changes in physical appearance (wrinkles, sagging skin, changes in facial harmony, etc.),
• fatigue and physical and emotional fragility,
• how others view their gradual loss of youth…
However, for nearly 72% of them, youth is not just physical, it is also a guarantee of good health and an active lifestyle.

We could thus contrast two profiles of women:
• those who succumb to societal pressure and seek youth at all costs, using cosmetics and cosmetic procedures to actively combat the signs of ageing,
• those who choose to live their age serenely and embrace “ageing well” with naturalness and serenity, rejecting anti-ageing rhetoric that they find alienating, aggressive and guilt-inducing.
According to Emmanuelle Dumas, while women clearly have not given up on the desire for youth, the trend towards “ageing well” and rejecting beauty dictates is on the rise.
It is in this context that the six trends she presented are emerging.
