On 25 March 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the updated Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) for the years 2025, 2026, and 2027. The list includes a total of 28 substances that will be assessed by the Member States under the REACH Regulation. Six of these may be used in cosmetics.

The 28 substances included in CoRAP 2025-2027, which are suspected of posing a risk to human health or the environment, will be assessed by the competent authorities of eight Member States.
This plan includes 13 new entries and 18 already present in previous CoRAPs. Of these 18, 12 have had their evaluations postponed, mainly, explains ECHA, pending new data that has been requested.
Eight substances are due to be evaluated in 2025, 15 in 2026 and 5 in 2027. However, ECHA warns that for the substances scheduled for 2026 and 2027, changes could be introduced in the next CoRAP update in 2026.
Of the 28 substances concerned, six can currently be used in cosmetics.
