To mark Pink October 2025 and as part of their renewed partnership, Fareva and the Belle & Bien association brought together eleven women with cancer for a beauty workshop designed to offer them a moment of respite. Invited to the manufacturer’s Paris offices, CosmeticOBS discovered how beauty can become a valuable source of support, helping women undergoing treatment to regain their confidence.

In a large, bright room at Fareva’s Paris headquarters, eleven women take their seats around a table where each place has been carefully prepared. They are of all ages and backgrounds, all going through a difficult time.
But here, illness remains outside the door. During the workshop, they don’t talk about treatments, but about skin, skincare routines, and makeup. In short, everything that helps them regain a little normality and self-esteem.

A workshop to reclaim your image

The day’s workshop begins in attentive silence. The tone is gentle, the gestures measured. Each woman has everything she needs to perform a complete ritual. We start with makeup removal. The facilitator systematically asks if she can touch the participants, careful not to offend anyone. The first few minutes are a little stiff, but then confidence sets in.
Questions flow. Which textures should be favored? How can tight skin be soothed? Should certain active ingredients be avoided? The facilitator answers without recommending any particular brands, but by providing keys to understanding. The goal is to enable each woman to choose the right products for her, based on informed knowledge.
