According to online polling site Attest, cosmetics brands can’t ignore certain trends in consumer society. The platform has listed all the must-know trends.

Attest has identified five distinct trends.

Artificial intelligence
No sector seems to be immune to the growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI), and the beauty world is no exception. “According to a report by Perfect Corp, 77% of beauty professionals believe that conversational AI agents, such as chatbots and virtual assistants, offer unrivalled potential for creating tailored interactions. These tools provide instant 24/7 customer support, offering personalized product recommendations and inquiries that are answered with precision,” Attest explains.
But the uses for this new technology don’t stop there. AI can also be used internally (inventory management, creating marketing campaigns…).

Sustainability
Respect for nature is no longer just a trend, but an essential prerequisite.
According to Attest, the sustainable beauty market is expected to reach $326.8 billion by 2031. Brands are increasingly attentive to their carbon footprint, sourcing, water use and the recyclability of their packaging.
The Zs are very sensitive to the climate issue: 67.7% of them give priority to sustainability, and 56.2% are prepared to pay more for products that respect the environment.

Inclusivity
According to Attest, 31% of consumers avoid brands that do not have an inclusive approach. “Inclusion goes beyond skin color and gender. …
