The various measures contained in Statutory Instrument 2024 No. 1334, published by Great Britain on December 17, 2024, continue to come into effect on November 1, 2025. Reminder.
Statutory Instrument 2024 No.1334](@@LINK-69132@@) bans 64 CMR substances (eight of which have INCI names) in England, Wales and Scotland, and places new restrictions on kojic acid.
It stipulates that this substance must be limited to use in products for the face and hands, at a maximum concentration of 1%.
This last provision, applicable to products placed on the market since June 20, 2025, comes into effect for products made available on the market on November 1, 2025.
From that date onwards, non-compliant products may no longer be marketed and must therefore be withdrawn from the market.
