As part of its CSR policy, the cosmetics group has announced that it is working with Association Joséphine, France’s leading network of solidarity-based beauty salons, by committing to donating 1% of sales from its Pixalia asset every year.
Founded in 2006, Association Joséphine provides care for vulnerable women to help them reintegrate into society and the workplace, and regain control over their lives.
To help the organization continue to operate, Expanscience (through its Actifs Cosmétiques division) has pledged to donate 1% of revenues from the sale of Pixalia, an ingredient that promotes healthy skin and hair.
“We are committed to a long-term partnership with the Joséphine Association, to help women in precarious situations build their self-confidence and self-esteem. This reflects our commitment to developing cosmetic active ingredients with a holistic approach, aimed at improving the well-being of body and mind,” said Angéline Rocherieux, Cosmetic Active Ingredients Marketing Manager at Expanscience.
