According to Sisley, “sensitive skin is a problem that affects a very large proportion of the world’s population (over 60% of women and 50% of men), which makes it a very big market, and a growing one at that, our lifestyles and pollution being aggravating factors.*
The brand is innovating with its major skin care launch for early 2025: Peaux Sensibles Soin Apaisant (40 ml, €170) and has created a new franchise for it, “Les Réponses Dermatologiques”, which combines dermatological effectiveness with sensoriality and desirability, offering beauty benefits in addition to treating a particular skin problem.
This is the first time that Sisley has entered the field of dermo-cosmetics in Selectif, as
”the products that have existed until now in this category (those that respond to skin pathologies) are not sensorial ”. Consumers of this type of product can feel cheated, unwillingly forced to forget their desire for desirable cosmetics that address their beauty concerns. We don’t want to imitate traditional dermocosmetics, but to offer a different, original dermocosmetics, like a Sisley way.”*
