They accentuate the natural radiance of the face and give freshness to the complexion with a very natural result. That’s why they’re suitable for most skin tones (non-ethnic). After Givenchy, Tarte, Huda Beauty and Suqqu are bringing it to the forefront.

Givenchy was one of the first to use the mauve hue in its recently reformulated Prisme Libre 4-Color Loose Powder (10 g, €57 or mini format €34).
These famous loose powders combine four complementary shades (closer to actual skin color) to correct, matify and illuminate the complexion.
In each harmony, two shades even out skin tone irregularities, while the other two boost radiance. All four merge to magnify the complexion and blur skin texture in a single gesture.
Using soft-focus powders and light-reflecting mother-of-pearl, these powders act like a sublimating filter. The result: long-lasting perfection and a bare-skin feel. The mauve color (more or less pronounced) is featured in three harmonies (Mousseline Pastel for fair complexions, Tulle Opalescent the new brightening harmony for very fair complexions, and Mousseline Acidulée for medium complexions).

Huda Beauty imagines its iconic Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder in the electric lilac brightening shade (Collection Ube, shade Ube Birthday Cake, 20 g, €39.90).
It immediately makes the complexion look sexier, correcting and illuminating complexions lacking light and transparency (such as olive skin tones).

In turn, Tarte launches its Lavender Fixing and Brightening Powder (7 g, €38).
