Increasingly sophisticated and effective, new eye contour treatments (masks or creams) act, among other things, on sagging eyelids and vascular or pigmented dark circles. What’s new? The formulas are equipped with sun filters or feature high doses of vitamin C, retinol or retinol-like, while offering high tolerance. Caffeine is still omnipresent.

The special feature of Vichy’s new Liftactiv Pigment Specialist Soin Yeux SPF 50+ (15 ml, €32.30) is that it acts on vascular and pigmented dark circles (an increasingly sought-after property) and offers high sun protection, a rare plus in eye care.
It protects against UVA and UVB rays, while reducing hyperpigmentation in this fragile, exposed area, thanks to Melasyl, a new patented active ingredient that intercepts excess melanin before it marks the skin.
Niacinamide, vitamin E and caffeine complete the formula.

[C] Eye Biotic Soin Yeux Lissant Illuminateur by SVR (15 ml, €32.90) also reduces dark circles, both pigmented (vitamin C) and vascular (gentian extract).
Its formula contains 5% optimized vitamin C, as well as a smoothing peptide, hyaluronic acid and probiotics, enabling it to correct wrinkles and visible signs of fatigue, for a more awake look.
Its airless bottle is refillable, which is still rare for an eye care product. Its fresh, pinkish texture with light-reflecting micro-pigments brings a natural radiance. This light “pinkish” effect enhances the look, for a fresh, revitalized eye contour.
