
As the 2025 holiday season approaches, artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly prevalent in the shopping experience. This is the conclusion reached by Perfect Corp in its latest report (written in collaboration with Spate).
The Spate Popularity Index combines data from Google searches, TikTok views, and Instagram posts to identify emerging and evolving trends. Insights related to holiday shopping and AI usage also come from a survey of users of Perfect Corp.’s YouCam apps.
Artificial intelligence is no longer seen as a marginal innovation. Nearly nine out of ten consumers say they already use it for shopping.
An equivalent proportion of respondents plan to increase their use of it.
A tool to help you through the holidays
According to Spate, interest in AI is up 79% compared to last year. Its use is particularly noticeable on YouCam apps, where 80% of users say they use AI to find gift ideas.
“As consumers seek more personalization, AI tools enable brands to stand out with more relevant recommendations, virtual try-ons, and tailored shopping experiences,” comments Perfect Corp.
