On 2 July 2026, the European Commission announced a review of the “rolling list” in its REACH restrictions roadmap, first published in 2022. It provides an update on the work currently underway at the various stages of the restrictions development process (D4, D5 and D6; formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, microplastics, CMRs, Octocrylene, PFAS…).

Environmental claims
Published in March 2024, Directive (EU) 2024/825, which aims to “empower cconsumers for the green transition through better protection against unfair practices and through better information,” is due to come into force on 27 September 2026. The common position on the approach to be taken by supervisory authorities regarding existing stocks that have become non-compliant has just been published.

CMR No.9 + Omnibus Regulation
